Bringing together partners with various scientific, economic and socio-political expertise is one of the main tasks of KEI. These balanced networks will help to create solutions for socio-economic problems caused by global change. Global change is influencing economics, environment and natural resources.
The network of partners with their different interests, expertise, and methodological approaches builds the knowledge base of the virtual institute. KEI offers to all partners a forum for cooperation and helps to transport the scientific results to the society. Here KEI assists with media relations and consultancy.

The partners support KEI as a whole (fellows) or cooperate in KEI projects (project partner).
